Day 1; Tarangire National Park:
Start your adventure by being picked up in the morning from Arusha or Moshi town. Embark, on a drive through the Masai Steppe passing Makuyuni Junction until you reach Tarangire National Park. Considered the park in Tanzania Tarangire is renowned for its majestic Baobab trees and impressive herds of elephants. Wildlife enthusiasts will be captivated by the range of animal species and rare breeds like Oryx and hirolas well as unique bird species. In the afternoon we will exit the park. Head to Sangaiwe Tented Camp offering views of the expansive plains and Lake Burunge in the distance. Alternatively you may opt to be transferred to Karatu where you can check into a lodge, for dinner and overnight stay Roika tarangire tented lodge. Lunch and dinner are included.
Day 2; Ngorongoro Crater
Rise with the sun at your campsite as we begin day two with a breakfast. Afterward we will depart for Ngorongoro Crater, famously known as the ” Wonder of the World.”When you arrive you will need to register at the Loduare Main Gate. After that you’ll get to explore the Ngorongoro Crater on a game drive while enjoying a picnic lunch on the floor of the crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is often regarded as one of the worlds wonders. It’s not actually a crater but the largest intact volcanic caldera, in the world. It serves as a natural haven for some of Africas most dense animal populations. This unique location is one of the places where you can observe rhinos in their natural habitat. Due to its walls reaching 2000 ft., a handful of animals migrate in and out of the crater. So, during your game drive you can expect to encounter lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, various bird species and other fascinating creatures. If luck is on your side during this one game drive adventure guided by our safari guide you might even spot the Big 5 animals. In the afternoon we will take you up to the rim of the crater where you can choose to check in at a lodge (for a cost) or stay at our regular lodge located near Karatu just outside of the conservation area gate. You will spend your night at Country Lodge, in Karatu or an accommodation option.

Day 03; Lake Manyara National Park
After having an early morning breakfast, at the lodge you will make your way towards the Arusha Area for your departure. As part of your 3 day safari in Tanzania you will descend into the floor of the Great Rift Valley. Visit Lake Manyara National Park. The name “Manyara” comes from the Masai language. Refers to the euphorbia tirucalli trees that are commonly used by the Masai people to create protective hedges around their homes and livestock. This park is known for its abundance of these trees as its famous tree climbing lions who can often be seen resting on branches during afternoon siestas. Along with these lions you can also expect to spot animals such as impalas, giraffes, buffaloes and dik diks in this lush green park. As you enter, you’ll notice a forest nourished by water streams providing a perfect habitat for blue monkey’s baboons, bush bucks and majestic elephants seeking shelter, from the afternoon sun while peacefully munching on green branches, twigs and herbs.
During your visit, to the Hippo pools and Lake Manyara itself you’ll have the opportunity to observe wildlife such as Hippos and a variety of birds including the vibrant Flamingoes, pelicans, Egyptian geese, cormorants, and many others. We’ll embark on game drives until midday before heading to Arusha. If you’re staying in Arusha, we’ll drop you off at your hotel; however, if you’re departing today, we can also arrange transportation to Kilimanjaro International Airport for a fee. Your package includes lunch and dinner. This marks the end of your three-day adventure in Tanzania, from Arusha!
