Day 1; Arrival, at Kilimanjaro. Arusha

Once you arrive at Kilimanjaro airport your Tanzania Safari guide will be there to greet you. They will accompany you to your hotel and the rest of the day is yours to relax and soak in the atmosphere. Your knowledgeable and experienced Tanzania Specialist guide not only has an understanding of Tanzanian culture but can also provide valuable insights about the country’s stunning national parks and attractions. This safari is designed exclusively for you ensuring that you can make the most of your journey! You have control over when you want to start in the morning and return in the evening. Day 2; Exploring Lake Manyara National Park

The first national park, on your itinerary, is one of Tanzania’s picturesque reserves.

You’ll encounter elephants and large groups of baboons, in the forest. If you’re fortunate you might even spot tree-climbing lions. The vast soda lake is home to a range of wildlife including buffalos, warthogs, giraffes, wildebeest, zebras and flamingos. The shallow Hippo Pool offers opportunities to witness hippos close while enjoying a spectacular view of the Rift Valley Escarpment.

Lake Manyara is a destination for combining game drives with enjoyable activities such as cultural tours, mountain bike tours or canopy walks.

Day 3- 5 Serengeti National Park

For the three to five days of your adventure, you will explore the renowned Serengeti National Park. This park’s breathtaking landscape has been featured in some of the awe-inspiring nature documentaries. Its endless plains and abundant wildlife are truly unmatched. One of the highlights is witnessing the migration of over a million wildebeest. A remarkable spectacle as these majestic creatures thunder across the vast plains alongside zebras and gazelles. With your guide, you’ll embark on thrilling expeditions across the plains in search of these magnificent herds. In addition to experiencing this migration phenomenon, you’ll also have opportunities to observe fascinating animals such, as lions, cheetahs, leopards and many more.

Day 6; Exploring Ngorongoro National Park

Bright and in the morning set off from Arusha towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As you traverse the Great Rift Valley and pass through the crater forest you’ll arrive at the awe-inspiring Ngorongoro Crater. This collapsed volcano forms an ecosystem teeming with vegetation. Take delight in the colours of the landscapes and revel in encounters with an abundance of animals. The crater boasts a concentration of wildlife in all of Africa including elephants, lions, buffaloes, hippos, and rare black rhinos. It is truly one of nature’s wonders. Offers opportunities to spot all members of Africa’s Big Five. The panoramic views from atop the crater rim overlooking its floor are simply breathtaking. Little wonder that it has been selected as one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders due to its allure.

While exploring the Ngorongoro Conservation Area there are activities for you to enjoy such, as visiting an authentic Maasai village.

Day 7; Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you’ll embark on a full-day game drive, to Tarangire National Park. It’s one of Tanzania’s hidden gems still retaining an ambiance. The picturesque hilly landscape adorned with Baobab trees against the backdrop of a blue sky is truly awe-inspiring. Prepare to witness the concentration of elephants in the world. You’ll be amazed by herds of up to 300 elephants gathering around the Tarangire River quenching their thirst or enjoying mud baths. Bird enthusiasts will also be enchanted by Tarangire as it is a haven for species. In addition to elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs and even tree-climbing pythons can be spotted in the vicinity of these swamps.

Day 8 9; Tarangire. Airport

Today is yours to unwind and relax or explore at your pace depending on your flight schedule. Your driver will transfer you to Kilimanjaro Airport for your departure flight on day 9 when you head home.
